Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is looking for an Expert Data Analytics Engineer to manage their comprehensive data lifecycle. The role focuses on designing robust pipelines and models within a hybrid data platform, bridging on-premises warehouses and cloud architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest data from diverse source systems into a hybrid platform.
- Perform data analysis and modeling for an enterprise data warehouse and a cloud-based medallion architecture.
- Manage the full data lifecycle including workflow orchestration, quality assurance, and performance optimization.
- Research, define, and implement critical reporting KPIs to provide business insights.
- Develop and maintain data solutions using Data Vault and dimensional modeling methodologies.
- Collaborate within an Agile environment to deliver pragmatic and scalable data products.
Requirements
- You have 8+ years of experience with SQL.
- You have 8+ years of experience with Power BI.
- You possess 3+ years of experience with dbt and Jinja.
- You bring 3+ years of experience with Dimensional modeling using Kimball and Data Vault 2.0.
- You have 3+ years of experience with ETL pipelines, data mapping, and Enterprise Data Warehouse systems.
- You possess 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- You have experience with Python, DAX, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
- You bring experience researching and implementing reporting KPIs for business dashboards.
- You possess a Master degree and a proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
- You have an active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
Nice to Haves
- Certification in Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst.
- Certification in Azure Fundamentals or dbt Fundamentals.
- Completion of the Collibra Data Steward learning path.
- Certification as a Scrum PO.
