Our client is a leading organization in the energy sector, dedicated to ensuring the reliability and sustainability of the national electricity supply. The project focuses on quantifying and monitoring flexibility resources like storage and demand response to improve long-term projections and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze information on system flexibility across various technologies and voltage levels.
  • Develop and execute research strategies to retrieve data through desktop research and stakeholder interviews.
  • Conduct data analysis on smart metering time series using statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
  • Translate analytical insights into strategic recommendations, clear presentations, and technical tool requirements.
  • Manage the project lifecycle of the flexibility initiative, including scope, timing, and resource tracking.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure program objectives align with overall strategic goals.
  • Report program progress and deliverables to various management and governance bodies.

Requirements

  • You bring knowledge of the electricity market and the broader energy sector.
  • You possess expertise in statistical methods and machine learning to perform analysis on large data sets.
  • You possess proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong project management abilities.
  • You are fluent in English with adequate knowledge of Dutch and French.

Nice to Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or Economics.
  • Willingness to obtain skills in Python or similar programming languages.
