Our client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is looking for a developer to build a scalable and performant platform within a mission-critical context. The role involves developing business-critical modules using modern engineering principles while taking ownership of technical quality and platform maturity.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build performant and maintainable frontend interfaces using React.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases in production environments to ensure data integrity.
- Contribute to architectural designs, scalability improvements, and security protocols.
- Implement test automation and maintain high code quality standards.
- Coach fellow developers and drive improvements in the way-of-working within the Scrum team.
Requirements
- You have 5+ years of experience in the development of web-based applications.
- You bring experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.
- You possess experience in frontend development using React and JavaScript.
- You have knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
- You are fluent in Dutch with C2 level proficiency.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and leadership roles.
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Familiarity with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in coaching and leading a development team.
