Senior Enterprise Architect – Digital Transformation & IoT

Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector dedicated to environmental management, is looking for an expert to lead their digital innovation initiatives. The role focuses on evolving modular digital services and integrating advanced technologies like IoT and AI to enhance operational efficiency.

• Define and refine enterprise architecture frameworks for modular digital services and strategic programs.
• Oversee the architectural design of smart technology projects involving IoT, AI, and real-time data analysis.
• Conduct impact, system, and scenario analyses for complex, organization-wide change trajectories.
• Drive application rationalization, cloud migration strategies, and legacy system modernization.
• Integrate security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles into all architectural solutions.
• Collaborate with project management teams on cost estimations, planning, and coordination of architectural implementations.

• 8+ years in enterprise architecture within complex, large-scale organizational environments.
• 8+ years as a specialist architect in domains such as Networking, Security, ERP, or Data Warehousing.
• 8+ years designing data architectures including Data Models, Governance, and Master Data Management (MDM).
• 8+ years performing impact, system, and scenario analyses for large-scale digital programs.
• 8+ years managing application rationalization and Cloud Migration or modernization projects.
• 5+ years designing Cloud Platforms and APIs.
• 3+ years implementing Security-by-design and Privacy-by-design frameworks.
• You possess expert knowledge of modeling techniques including Archimate, TOGAF, UML, and Sparx EA.
• You bring a strong understanding of general business processes and project management facets such as planning and budgeting.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a level of C2.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with .NET/C#, Python, and modern cloud-native web architectures.
• Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS, geospatial platforms, and geodata architectures.
• Experience with IoT, MQTT, and sensor network environments.
• Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, LLMs, and MLOps processes.
• Background in Earth Observation systems, satellite data, or drone technology.
