Our client, a prominent player in the industrial energy sector, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to manage and optimize an international network infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high reliability and security across both enterprise office networks and specialized industrial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize network performance across enterprise and industrial environments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues to maintain maximum uptime.
  • Manage physical infrastructure components, including cabling and UTP identification.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and stakeholders within industrial settings.
  • Maintain security standards for technical and Distributed Control System (DCS) networks.
  • Support high-availability enterprise routing, switching, and WiFi environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with Solarwinds for network performance monitoring.
  • 5+ years of experience within industrial or power plant environments, including VCA certification.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Fortinet solutions, specifically firewalling and SD-WAN.
  • You bring expertise in Cisco ISE and enterprise-grade WiFi environments.
  • You possess strong skills in enterprise routing and switching using BGP, OSPF, and VRF.
  • You have hands-on experience and certification in Zscaler technologies, including ZIA and ZPA.
  • You're experienced and certified in cloud networking technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • You bring knowledge of DCS Networks and industrial vendors such as Siemens, ABB, or GE.
  • You possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various international sites.
  • You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
