Functional Analyst – Energy Market & Dynamics 365

Our client, a prominent player in the utilities sector, is looking for a professional to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The role involves translating requirements into functional and technical designs for applications supporting energy supply operations.

• Capture business requirements and translate them into detailed functional analyses and technical designs.
• Document existing and new functionalities through reverse engineering and specification drafting.
• Provide application support including bug fixing, incident management, and user assistance for various platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define test scenarios and support business acceptance testing.
• Participate in workshops to advise on technical components and potential risks regarding industry standards.
• Manage change and release processes in alignment with internal project methodologies.

• 5+ years experience as a Functional Analyst.
• 5+ years experience in application support, including incident management, releases, and monitoring.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• 1+ year experience in the utilities sector specifically focused on energy supply.
• 1+ year experience with energy market communication standards such as MIG6 or MIG DGO.
• 1+ year experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• 1+ year experience using JIRA for project tracking and ticket management.
• Experience with ITIL change and release management processes.
• Experience writing and splitting user stories and leading refinement sessions.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and possess strong diplomatic communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level with active knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with project methodologies.
• Experience writing test scenarios.
• Ability to read and understand .Net code.
