Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is seeking an experienced professional to manage mission-critical applications for infrastructure management and traffic planning. The project involves overseeing a large multidisciplinary team in a high-stakes, 24/7 environment utilizing Agile frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle including scope, planning, budget, quality, and deliverables.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs while providing regular reporting to executive management.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies.
  • Prepare and lead steering committees, project committees, and governance meetings.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure business objectives align with IT deliveries.
  • Coach teams in Agile methodologies and stimulate self-organization and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support business-critical operations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of IT project management experience within complex or critical environments.
  • 8+ years of experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and LeSS.
  • 8+ years of knowledge in IT environments covering software development, architecture, and integration.
  • 8+ years of experience with project management tools including JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, budget control, and resource planning.
  • You possess strong experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing parallel projects.
  • You bring advanced skills in management reporting and communication with both technical teams and leadership.
  • You're recognized for your leadership, decision-making capabilities, and conflict resolution skills.
  • You are fluent in French and Dutch with a good knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience in the railway sector or other critical infrastructure industries.
