Our client, a prominent organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Project Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation to act as a technical authority on complex projects. This role focuses on defining engineering standards and ensuring technical excellence from design through to commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all electrical and instrumentation packages across various engineering projects.
  • Review and challenge technical documentation, including User Requirement Specifications and electrical drawings.
  • Define and apply engineering standards, norms, and guidelines for electrical installations and instrumentation.
  • Lead design reviews and participate in risk analyses, safety reviews, and HAZOP sessions.
  • Manage Request for Quotations (RFQs) and provide technical expertise during supplier selection.
  • Oversee on-site construction activities and support FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases.

Requirements

  • You have a Master or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanica, or a related field.
  • You bring 8+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within industrial environments.
  • You possess advanced expertise in HAZOP sessions and safety risk analyses.
  • You have experience managing FAT, SAT, and the qualification phases of engineering projects.
  • You bring a strong understanding of technical documentation and industrial engineering standards.
  • You're proactive, solution-oriented, and possess strong analytical capabilities.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of PLC or SCADA systems.
