Data Migration & Quality Engineer – Energy Management Systems

Our client, a leading operator in the energy sector, is seeking a professional to contribute to a large-scale digital evolution project for a critical management system. This role focuses on ensuring a seamless data migration and maintaining high quality standards throughout the transition to a new software platform.

• Manage the synchronization and migration of data between software versions across different project phases.
• Develop and analyze supporting tools for database entry using SQL and Python.
• Support engineering teams by conducting code reviews and promoting maintainable coding practices.
• Test new user interfaces for database maintenance and ensure the integrity of software services.
• Update and develop quality control scripts aligned with new system capabilities.
• Document migration procedures, test results, and operational maintenance templates.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to users regarding the new software environment.

• You have experience in software development with Python or other programming languages.
• You bring experience with version control systems, specifically GIT.
• You possess experience working in an Agile team environment.
• You're able to work independently, conduct autonomous research, and communicate effectively within a team.
• You're detail-oriented and demonstrate a strict adherence to quality standards.
• You are fluent in English with passive knowledge of French and Dutch.
