Electrical Engineer

Our client, a global leader in materials technology and circularity, is seeking an expert for the electrical and instrumentation discipline within their technology department. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for electrical installations and modifications in a complex industrial environment, supporting large-scale investment projects.

• Designing and implementing electrical installations based on stakeholder requirements and technical standards.
• Managing external engineering firms during the detailed design phase of the project.
• Conducting technical discussions with suppliers, including the preparation of specifications, requests for quotation, and purchase orders.
• Developing cost estimates and project schedules in close collaboration with the project manager.
• Monitoring the execution of works on-site while managing scope, budget, and project timelines.
• Reviewing functional descriptions and actively contributing to the selection and implementation of industrial safeguards.
• Leading pre-commissioning tests and providing support during functional testing and start-up phases.

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree with a specialization in electricity or electromechanics.
• You bring 6+ years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer within an industrial or project-driven environment.
• You possess strong knowledge of electricity, electrical networks, instrumentation, PLC controls, power electronics, industrial communication networks, and PL/SIL.
• You have experience performing cable calculations and are in possession of a VCA certification.
• You're assertive, result-oriented, and possess a hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently.
• You are fluent in Dutch with effective professional communication skills in English.
