HSE Prevention Advisor & Safety Coordinator (GMP)

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a professional to support engineering and construction projects at a GMP-regulated site. This role involves taking ownership of safety aspects during the design and realization phases, ensuring both process and construction safety for diverse project scopes.

• Coordinate safety protocols during the design and realization phases of both small-scale engineering and large expansion projects.
• Oversee construction-related safety aspects including site logistics, emergency exits, and technical room layouts.
• Perform process safety evaluations through HAZOP analyses and risk assessments for new equipment and process flows.
• Ensure the safe installation and operational readiness of new equipment with a focus on operator safety and ergonomics.
• Provide dedicated support to the site HSE team through risk analyses, training, and drafting commissioning procedures.
• Act as the central safety point of contact for all project stakeholders to ensure compliance with Belgian safety legislation.

• You bring a certification as a Prevention Advisor Level 2.
• You have 5+ years of relevant experience in safety management, specifically within a GMP-regulated or pharmaceutical environment.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of Belgian safety legislation and experience conducting HAZOP analyses.
• You are a collaborative team player with strong communication and training skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of English.
