Solution Architect – Digital Platform & Cloud Migration

Our client, a leading European energy infrastructure operator, is looking for a Solution Architect to drive the evolution of its consumer-centric digital platform. The role involves guiding a strategic platform transformation and its ecosystem toward a modern cloud-native architecture while maintaining alignment with security and technical standards.

• Steer architectural activities for the consumer-centric platform to ensure scalability and performance.
• Provide architectural guidance to product management to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Lead the transition from legacy cloud environments to a proprietary Kubernetes-based cloud-native platform.
• Collaborate with product teams to design solutions that follow enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Support the migration of existing applications to new technology stacks.
• Define future-proof architectural strategies that support business growth and digital innovation.

• 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect role.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure PaaS and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Strong understanding of Cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with API management platforms and application migration projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Microservices, and Event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with IT architecture frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, and ATAM.
• You're autonomous, results-driven, and possess excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• You possess an agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration.
• You are fluent in English with a good level of Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in Identity & Access Management.
• Knowledge of Kong, MongoDB, Kafka, Harbor, or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
