Our client is a growing organization seeking a Platform Support Engineer to join their internal developer platform team. This role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, stability, and scalability to empower internal development teams. The position combines platform operations with proactive product improvement and direct support for engineering squads.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of the internal developer platform.
- Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related incidents and technical issues.
- Analyze system incidents and implement effective bug fixes to maintain platform stability.
- Support and guide development teams in implementing DevOps principles and platform best practices.
- Deploy and configure new platform features while identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of business-critical platform services.
Requirements
- You have 2+ years of professional experience with Azure.
- You possess solid experience with Kubernetes orchestration and management.
- You're familiar with CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub Actions.
- You have experience with monitoring and observability tools and methodologies.
- You bring a strong affinity for software development and delivery lifecycles.
- You are proactive and communicative with a natural drive to help others.
- You possess the ability to advocate for platform principles and architectural standards.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of Java Spring stack.
