Our client, a key player in the European energy landscape, is looking for a professional to drive digital transformation within their grid development division. This role focuses on maximizing value for digital capabilities that support the lifecycle of scenario management and complex grid studies.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, priorities, and roadmap aligned with the overall product line strategy.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog by creating clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead continuous discovery efforts with expert communities to frame problems and validate needs through data analysis.
  • Coordinate sprint and release planning across multiple teams to resolve dependencies and ensure delivery coherence.
  • Align stakeholders across technical and business departments to translate long-term challenges into actionable product outcomes.
  • Oversee quality assurance by accepting completed stories and monitoring the adoption of delivered capabilities.
  • Promote Agile ways of working and pragmatic innovation to improve data quality and study execution.

Requirements

  • You possess proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst within an Agile or product-oriented environment.
  • You bring a strong understanding of the energy sector or TSO context, specifically regarding grid studies, scenarios, and long-term planning.
  • You have experience working with data products, analytical tools, or decision-support tooling.
  • You possess a Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • You have the ability to translate expert needs into backlog priorities supported by qualitative and quantitative evidence.
  • You bring excellent communication skills and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams without hierarchical authority.
  • You're collaborative and improvement-oriented, fostering transparency and experimentation.
  • You are fluent in English with professional communication skills in Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with workflow digitalization or the productization of business-critical tools.
  • Experience working in regulated infrastructure or data-intensive environments.
