Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is looking for an expert to join their identity management team. This role involves maintaining an in-house identity orchestration platform and leading the transition toward a modern, cloud-native architecture on Azure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an in-house identity orchestration platform using .NET components and microservices.
- Drive the transition of existing components to a cloud-native target architecture using Azure Functions and Container Apps.
- Design and build new IAM functionalities including user provisioning, identity governance, and fine-grained authorization.
- Integrate identity providers and RESTful services using SCIM, OIDC, and OAuth 2.1 standards.
- Provide senior-level architectural input for policy-based authorization and identity lifecycle management implementations.
- Collaborate with international teams to deliver high-quality security engineering solutions and third-line support.
Requirements
- You possess 8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), specifically in identity governance, administration, and lifecycle management.
- You bring 8+ years of experience in backend development using .NET and C#.
- You have hands-on experience with identity providers such as Keycloak, Duende IdentityServer, or Microsoft Entra ID.
- You possess practical knowledge of SCIM, OIDC, and OAuth 2.1 for provisioning and authentication integrations.
- You have experience with fine-grained authorization models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, PBAC) and tools like OPA, OpenFGA, or AuthZen.
- You bring expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Key Vault.
- You possess strong skills in SQL, REST APIs, and source control using Git.
- You have experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps within an Agile and DevOps culture.
- You're a proactive, solution-oriented team player with meticulous planning and communication skills.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience delivering IAM-related development or maintenance within a secure customer or partner portal environment.

- Duration: 6 months.
- Work regime: Full-time.
- Location: Antwerp.
- Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite).
