Our client, a key organization in the European energy sector, is seeking a professional to help ensure the reliability and sustainability of national electricity management. The role involves acting as a strategic link between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate complex grid modeling requirements into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and model end-to-end business processes using structured methodologies to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Elicit, clarify, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Structure business concepts through information modeling to support complex data management within the energy market.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and product owners to design future-proof processes and refine the project backlog.
  • Drive quality assurance by contributing to test case development and performing business acceptance testing within an Agile framework.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation to support business processes and technical solution designs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements elicitation within Agile environments.
  • You have the ability to refine product backlog items to a technical level suitable for developers.
  • You possess a proactive, self-starting mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • You're an excellent communicator capable of precisely informing and managing stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in English with a very good level of Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

  • Strong understanding of BABOK, UML, and BPMN methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Archimate.
  • Professional experience or knowledge regarding Electrical Network Management.

Offer

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 years
  • Location: Brussels
  • Working model: Hybrid with at least 2 days onsite per week.
  • Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
