Workplace Engineer – Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management

Our client, a significant organization in the public sector, is looking for a Workplace Engineer to help build a secure and modern digital environment for thousands of users. This role focuses on modern endpoint management, automation, and cybersecurity across multiple platforms including laptops and mobile devices.

• Manage and configure Microsoft Intune and associated Microsoft 365 workplace services.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other scripting techniques.
• Oversee software deployments, packaging, and application lifecycle management.
• Administer Windows, iOS, and Android devices within a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Strengthen endpoint security through Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, and compliance policies.
• Collaborate with architects and security specialists on infrastructure projects from analysis to implementation.

• 5+ years experience as a system administrator focused on infrastructure and workplace management.
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 administration.
• 3+ years experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• 3+ years experience in Endpoint Management across Windows, iOS, and Android.
• 1+ years experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• 1+ years experience with Windows Security Baselines, hardening, and compliance policies.
• 1+ years experience applying ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change management.
• You possess experience with specialized systems such as Unix, Linux, or Windows environments.
• You are proactive, analytical, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with software packaging and deployment using Win32 or MSIX.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, Conditional Access, and Microsoft App Control for Business.
• Professional experience with SharePoint Online.
• Previous experience working within a public sector organization.
• Experience with ICT infrastructure solutions.
