Our client, a leading organization in the energy infrastructure sector, is looking for an Operational Endpoint Engineer to manage the full lifecycle and support of a large-scale device fleet. This role focuses on maintaining approximately 3,000 endpoints to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and reliable technical environment for a diverse user base.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of physical and virtual endpoints, covering staging, deployment, and secure decommissioning.
  • Resolve technical incidents and hardware requests while documenting troubleshooting steps and outcomes.
  • Coordinate hardware repairs and warranty management with external vendors and third-party brokers.
  • Maintain accurate asset records within the CMDB and monitor stock levels for critical hardware.
  • Execute secure data erasure procedures and assess returned equipment for redeployment or retirement.
  • Update staging procedures, runbooks, and internal documentation to align with evolving technical standards.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience with Windows endpoint troubleshooting, imaging, and provisioning.
  • You possess practical knowledge of SCCM-based staging or Intune for device management.
  • You bring demonstrated expertise in PC hardware and peripheral troubleshooting.
  • You have experience with asset management, CMDB best practices, and lifecycle tracking for device fleets.
  • You possess basic proficiency in PowerShell.
  • You're proactive, highly organized, and demonstrate strong follow-up skills.
  • You are fluent in English with a fluent level of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Autopilot provisioning.
  • Willingness to learn the broader endpoint technology stack.
