DevOps Engineer – AWS & Infrastructure as Code

Our client, a public sector organization focused on digital transformation, is looking for a professional to manage and operate AWS workloads. The role involves developing a centralized hosting platform within a hub-spoke architecture to support various high-impact digital initiatives. This position contributes to building a robust information hub by implementing core components for networking, monitoring, and automated deployments.

• Manage and operate cloud workloads within a centralized hosting platform.
• Develop and expand the platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Implement and maintain central components for network architecture, DNS, logging, and monitoring.
• Automate deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Support project teams by setting up and connecting landing zones within a hub-spoke architecture.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment to ensure the operational excellence of the digital infrastructure.

• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and culture.
• 3+ years of experience automating CI/CD processes using GitHub or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Proven experience setting up and maintaining central hosting platforms within a hub-spoke architecture.
• You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or engineering field.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a level of C2.

Nice to Haves

• 1+ years of experience managing container orchestration systems such as ECS Fargate, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or MongoDB administration.
• Experience working within the public sector.
