Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is looking for a specialist to manage their advanced traffic monitoring solutions. This role focuses on the operational management and continuous improvement of automated recognition systems and related data streams. The position acts as a vital bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality traffic safety processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and document clear requirements and standards for traffic-related products and processes.
  • Translate the product vision into a structured roadmap, identifying key dependencies and risks.
  • Report progress to stakeholders, managing bottlenecks and maintaining a comprehensive decision log.
  • Establish quality management plans to ensure all system outputs meet required standards.
  • Manage relationships with internal end-users and external technology partners to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer through structured documentation of operational processes and system information.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in IT project management or product ownership within complex environments.
  • You possess experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and knowledge management.
  • You bring strong analytical skills with the ability to translate feedback into actionable technical tasks.
  • You're a proactive self-starter with a critical eye for detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to support diverse stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French with active knowledge of English and passive knowledge of the other national language.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working within the public sector.
  • Familiarity with traffic safety or law enforcement technology solutions.
