Functional Analyst – Credit Risk & Data Integration

Our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, is seeking an experienced professional to manage the functional design of their information systems. The role focuses on performing functional analysis for the banking and insurance domain and overseeing the lifecycle of data-driven projects from preliminary study to production support.

• Create concepts and manage planning for preliminary analysis and design phases.
• Perform functional analysis of information systems and deliver detailed functional designs following pre-study.
• Support system changes, enhancements, and upgrades from development through to production.
• Develop new program requirements and specifications tailored to specific customer needs.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, resource requirements, and project time estimates.
• Execute end-to-end testing of data pipelines and ensure the delivery of complex technical documentation.

• 5+ years experience in functional analysis and design of information systems within the banking or insurance sector.
• 5+ years experience with data and integration tools including Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, SAS, and Qlik Sense.
• You have strong knowledge of Regulatory and Credit risk domains.
• You possess experience with Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC), Oracle DBA, and Perl in Open Systems environments.
• You're experienced in end-to-end testing of data pipelines and Software Development lifecycles.
• You bring proficiency in Agile methodologies and IT Security principles.
• You possess an analytical mind with strong conceptual thinking and structured communication skills.
• You're a collaborative team player.
• You are fluent in English.
