Solution Architect – Asset Management & GIS

Our client, a major organization in the energy sector, is seeking a dedicated professional to optimize their IT infrastructure and application landscape. The role focuses on designing technical solutions for business challenges within the assets domain while modernizing the existing technical environment.

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to define architectural constraints and objectives.
• Conduct solution decomposition to create building blocks using established reference architectures and patterns.
• Align stakeholders across product organizations and delivery teams to maintain technical standards.
• Support delivery teams to ensure implementations follow the intended architecture design.
• Deliver comprehensive architecture designs that adhere to established vision and guidelines.
• Utilize governance structures and techniques like ADR or ATAM for gating and decision-making.

• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• You possess knowledge of IT standards and methodologies such as TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM.
• You're familiar with modern architectural paradigms including Domain Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• You bring experience with Architecture Modeling Languages like ArchiMate.
• You are proactive, autonomous, and result-oriented.
• You are fluent in English with a good level of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Working experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience with GIS solutions, specifically ArcGIS.
• Functional knowledge of Asset Management.
• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
