Our client, a key player in the European energy sector, is seeking an experienced engineer to join a foundational team building a data product factory. The role involves developing sustainable and reliable energy infrastructure through advanced data management and integration solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective data management solutions including data quality tooling and master data management.
- Align technical architecture with functional and non-functional requirements to ensure solution reliability.
- Develop and provision data platform solutions based on best practices in data management concepts.
- Set up and maintain continuous build and testing platforms to guarantee solution performance.
- Provide technical expertise regarding infrastructure tools such as queue managers, distributed caches, and monitoring systems.
- Deliver second and third-line support for production environments.
- Contribute to the development of dynamic documentation and the overall technical maturity of the integration chapter.
Requirements
- 5+ years backend development with .NET and the Microsoft platform.
- 3+ years experience with Audit and Trace frameworks and monitoring tools.
- You possess knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, GraphQL, and Messaging-based communication.
- You're experienced with distributed architecture patterns, distributed cache patterns, and integration frameworks.
- You have experience in Messaging or Event Streaming solutions for data integration layer development.
- You have expertise in Automated Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Continuous Integration development.
- You bring experience working in a data-centric product organization and managing mixed Windows and Unix environments.
- You're proactive, solution-oriented, and able to translate high-level concepts into implementable technical components.
- You are fluent in English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in the energy transmission sector.
- Knowledge of OpenDataSoft.
- Willingness to support data engineering tasks.
- Curious about new technologies and processes.

- Work regime: Full-time (minimum 80%)
- Location: Brussels
