Expert IT Service Manager – Cloud Transformation & Data Quality

Our client, a major public sector organization, is undergoing a large-scale modernization of its legacy infrastructure into a cloud-native environment. A technical leader is needed to manage IT teams and oversee the delivery of high-value services within a modern microservices architecture.

• Lead and mentor technical teams including developers, analysts, and project managers.
• Manage the transition from monolithic legacy systems to a modern microservices architecture on Kubernetes.
• Define and monitor performance through reporting, dashboards, and KPI planning.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of data within DB2 environments.
• Coordinate synchronous and asynchronous communication strategies including REST and message queues.
• Provide strategic advice to improve service delivery and organizational agility.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to support the delivery of value to internal and external end-users.

• 8+ years of experience in IT service management with a proven track record in team leadership and talent development.
• 8+ years of expertise in database management specifically with DB2 and data quality principles.
• 8+ years of experience managing synchronous and asynchronous communication using REST and Queues.
• 3+ years of experience working with Microservices Architecture and Kubernetes platforms.
• Expertise in creating reporting structures, KPI dashboards, and technical documentation.
• You possess strong service-oriented management skills and professional communication capabilities.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of integrating complex information.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Dutch or French.
• Experience with API-first and event-driven design principles.
