Automation Engineer

Our client, a major player in the petrochemical industry, is seeking an experienced professional to support the commissioning and start-up phases of a large-scale industrial project. The role involves ensuring the technical integrity and operational readiness of complex control systems within a production environment.

• Support ICSS commissioning, pre-commissioning, and start-up activities for the project.
• Execute loop checks, functional testing, and system integration testing to validate system performance.
• Perform Functional Safety Proof Tests and SIS validation activities in accordance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot DCS, SIS, and various automation-related issues during critical project phases.
• Assist with alarm management, historian validation, and the resolution of commissioning punch lists.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including vendors and EPCM partners, to ensure a safe and efficient plant start-up.

• You bring 3+ years of experience in industrial automation with Honeywell Experion PKS and Honeywell Safety Manager.
• You have knowledge of Honeywell ALMS and PHD Historian.
• You possess experience in the commissioning and start-up of petrochemical or large industrial facilities.
• You're a proactive problem-solver with strong troubleshooting skills.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.
