Senior Data Project Manager – Data & Analytics

Our client, a major organization in the transport and mobility sector, is seeking an experienced professional to join their Data & Analytics team. The project focuses on managing the delivery of data platforms, data assets, and advanced analytics products to realize a strategic vision.

• Lead project delivery from inception to completion while ensuring results meet defined quality standards.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with management and key stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and communication documents following established organizational standards.
• Manage budget proposals and navigate budget changes through defined internal processes.
• Diagnose potential risks and execute mitigation plans while reporting regularly to the leadership team.
• Facilitate steering committees and project update meetings to guide resources and manage expectations.
• Liaise between business and IT teams to ensure technical deliverables align with organizational objectives.

• You have 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the Data & Analytics domain.
• You possess 10+ years of experience in the delivery of complex data projects including data platforms, data ingestion, and reporting.
• You bring advanced knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and SAFe (Essentials).
• You have a recognized Project Methodology certification such as PM² or PMBOK.
• You have experience delivering Data Science, AI/ML, and data exploration solutions.
• You're proactive with a "can-do" work ethic and demonstrate effective time management in ambiguous environments.
• You are fluent in at least two of the following: Dutch, French, or English, with C-level proficiency in either Dutch or French and at least B2 level in the others.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of the Azure data stack, SAP, and BW4.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
• Domain knowledge in transport planning, maintenance, HR, Finance, or Marketing.

• Start date: 14/09/2026.
• Duration: project until 31/12/2027.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite).
• Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
