Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is seeking a professional to join a project focused on intelligent camera recognition systems. The role involves defining test strategies and executing various test types to ensure the reliability and performance of central management infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define functional, technical, acceptance, and regression test requirements.
  • Develop detailed test plans and scenarios in collaboration with business analysts and developers.
  • Execute manual and automated test scripts to ensure system reliability and document defects.
  • Maintain automated testing frameworks to enable rapid and efficient problem detection.
  • Prepare progress reports, result analyses, and comprehensive application release documentation.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to test strategies, work instructions, and system environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, specifically in the creation and documentation of test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
  • 3+ years of experience with functional, technical, acceptance, and regression testing methodologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in defect management, including documenting findings and test reporting.
  • 1+ years of knowledge regarding test automation tools and frameworks.
  • 1+ years of experience managing test data and various test environments.
  • You possess foundational technical insight into IT systems and software application architectures.
  • You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical, accurate approach.
  • You are proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to manage priorities and planning.
  • You have an active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.

  • Willingness to deepen knowledge in intelligent recognition systems and related security protocols.

  • Start date: 15/09/2026.
  • Duration: 4 months.
  • Work regime: Part-time (3/5).
  • Location: Brussels.
  • Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite).
  • Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
