Our client, a prominent professional federation in the legal and public service sector, is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to build state-of-the-art digital solutions. The role involves developing pragmatic and user-friendly software that simplifies complex administrative interactions between citizens and public services within a secure microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical solutions based on functional requirements following security and legal standards.
  • Build efficient and maintainable Java applications using modern software development patterns.
  • Ensure software quality through unit and integration testing, documentation, and security compliance checks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and the evolution of a Service Oriented Architecture.
  • Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver reusable and maintainable services.
  • Coach less experienced developers by sharing technical expertise and best practices.

Requirements

  • You have 4+ years of full stack development experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • You possess 3+ years of experience in frontend development using Angular, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
  • You bring experience with data and integration technologies including SQL Server, JPA, REST, and Maven.
  • You're familiar with reactive programming and state management using RxJs and Redux.
  • You possess practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment within GCP.
  • You have a strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and object-oriented design.
  • You are proactive, autonomous, and demonstrate a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • You are fluent in French or Dutch with passive knowledge of the other language and professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Domain Driven Design principles.
  • Knowledge of Angular CLI, Material Design, and JavaScript testing frameworks.
