Our client, a global leader in medical technology and heart rhythm management, is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated medical systems across a designated territory to ensure system reliability and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain advanced medical equipment used in specialized clinical procedures.
  • Manage a service territory by planning and prioritizing technical activities to meet operational goals.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions both on-site and remotely.
  • Support the launch of new product lines and equipment within the international market.
  • Document all service activities accurately within the service management system.
  • Collaborate with management to communicate technical risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality, health, and safety standards during all field activities.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • You bring 2+ years of experience in field service or the medical device industry.
  • You possess experience with standard test equipment such as a digital multimeter and safety tester.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and a valid driver's license.
  • You're able to lift equipment up to 35 kg and are flexible to travel extensively (up to 80%) within the region.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

  • Fluency in French.
  • Experience with specialized medical mapping systems.
