Power BI Consultant – Financial Reporting & Data Analytics

Our client, a prominent organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a Power BI Consultant to strengthen their reporting team. This role focuses on translating business needs into high-quality dashboards and guiding end-users toward efficient data-driven insights.

• Analyze and translate business data needs into actionable reporting requirements.
• Develop, test, and implement hands-on Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Gather requirements for regulatory and internal reporting while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Challenge business stakeholders to ensure high-quality and sustainable reporting solutions.
• Model and interpret datasets to provide accurate business insights and logic.
• Monitor report performance and consistency to optimize the production environment.
• Support and train end-users in the efficient use of Power BI and available reporting tools.

• You have 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting with Power BI.
• You possess 3+ years of experience with SQL and working with relational databases.
• You bring knowledge of datavisualization best practices and principles.
• You have experience translating complex business questions into concrete analytical solutions.
• You possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You're a proactive self-starter who can work efficiently according to Agile principles.
• You have strong communication skills and a client-oriented approach.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience within the financial or insurance sector.
• Certification in PL-300 – Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

• Location: Antwerp
• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite)
