Our client, a major public organization, is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation to modernize its operational efficiency and services. The Strategic Demand Analyst supports this mission by structuring and prioritizing IT initiatives to ensure strategic alignment and optimal resource allocation within a complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and clarify IT-related business requests to ensure they are well-defined and actionable.
  • Evaluate the alignment of new initiatives with overarching strategic objectives and organizational goals.
  • Develop lightweight business cases focusing on cost-benefit analysis, risks, and operational impacts.
  • Assess the feasibility and sustainability of projects relative to budgets, public procurement frameworks, and resource capacity.
  • Support governance instances by preparing decision dossiers and analytical reports to facilitate informed strategic choices.
  • Collaborate with architecture, procurement, and PMO teams to validate data and ensure portfolio consistency.
  • Re-prioritize and group existing initiatives to optimize the project portfolio and investment transparency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in business analysis and business architecture.
  • 3+ years in IT project management and change management within digital transformation contexts.
  • 3+ years performing financial analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and data management utilizing Power BI.
  • 3+ years experience with process management, optimization, and process automation.
  • 3+ years ensuring compliance standards related to IT and data within regulated sectors.
  • 3+ years integrating UX/UI and customer experience principles into functional analysis.
  • 3+ years working within Agile methodologies.
  • You possess strong conceptual reasoning skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for decision-makers.
  • You are proactive, independent in judgment, and comfortable navigating multidisciplinary environments.
  • You are native in Dutch or French with intermediate level in the other language and active knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of GDPR or NIS2 regulations.
  • Experience with public procurement procedures and regulations.

Offer

  • Start date: June 1st, 2026.
  • Duration: project length until end of 2026 with extension possible.
  • Work regime: Full-time.
  • Location: Brussels.
  • Working model: Hybrid with a minimum of 2 days onsite per week.
  • Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
