Our client, a key player in the energy landscape, is seeking a professional to oversee day-to-day construction activities for a large-scale artificial island project. This role focuses on the coordination of civil and marine completion works at an offshore location, ensuring the successful delivery of critical energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate a team of client representatives and project engineers at the offshore site.
  • Manage health, safety, environmental, and quality control standards for the EPC contractor.
  • Review method statements, risk analyses, and operational procedures in collaboration with the onshore team.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) at the site for day-to-day construction activities and contractor relations.
  • Provide detailed progress reporting and manage staffing plans for the offshore representative team.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities while proposing effective mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • You have a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in civil engineering.
  • You bring 8+ years of relevant experience in construction management.
  • You possess strong expertise in civil construction works.
  • You have experience with MS Office and ACONEX.
  • You're a structured, quick learner with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in the offshore sector and knowledge of structural or corrosion protection systems.
  • Willingness to obtain NOGEPA medical certification, BOSIET, and boat landing training.
  • Knowledge of Dutch or French.
