SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst – S/4HANA Finance & Controlling

Our client, a global leader in the industrial sector, is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation to harmonize its international operations onto a single integrated platform. The role acts as the primary functional bridge between finance and IT, ensuring that controlling and financial processes are designed and stabilized to support complex multi-entity operations.

• Implement and align SAP CO submodules including CCA, PCA, and CO-PA to optimize cost management and reporting.
• Translate financial and controlling requirements into functional SAP S/4HANA design decisions for multi-country rollouts.
• Manage integration points between FI/CO and adjacent modules including MM, SD, EWM, TM, and GTS.
• Partner with external integration teams during design, build, and cutover phases to safeguard business interests.
• Support the migration from legacy systems by overseeing chart of accounts harmonization and master data quality.
• Enhance financial visibility by developing reporting solutions with Power BI and embedded Fiori analytics.
• Coach internal key users on new business processes, Fiori applications, and redesigned month-end procedures.

• You have 3+ years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst or Consultant within complex, multi-entity environments.
• You bring deep functional knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and SAP CO (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA).
• You possess a strong understanding of integrated logistics and finance processes across MM, SD, and inventory valuation.
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
• You bring experience working on large-scale ERP migration programs or international template rollouts.
• You possess the ability to bridge the gap between financial stakeholders and technical IT teams through clear functional specifications.
• You're analytical, proactive, and comfortable making decisions in a dynamic project environment.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance transitions.
• Exposure to SAP GTS, EWM, WM, or TM from a finance integration perspective.
• Familiarity with Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud for financial reporting.
• Experience in an international, multi-currency, and multi-GAAP (local GAAP/IFRS) environment.
• Knowledge of logistics or distribution finance processes such as freight cost absorption.
