Our client, a leading organization in the European energy sector, is seeking a professional to ensure the reliability and sustainability of essential energy infrastructure. This role focuses on the integration of customer requirements through complex software configuration and the management of functional and technical specifications. The position involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities within a multidisciplinary, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed fit-gap analyses of software components to identify requirements covered by configuration versus custom development needs.
  • Translate user stories into consolidated functional and technical requirements while ensuring alignment with internal IT standards.
  • Coordinate with various functional and technical platforms during the development and operational phases to ensure seamless software integration.
  • Contribute actively to the solution architecture to ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are met.
  • Provide technical and domain expertise for incident and problem management to maintain system reliability.
  • Support product owners with software roadmap evolution, license negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
  • Define and evaluate technical requirements for RFP processes and contribute to functional design consolidation.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You bring proven experience in software integration and solution management.
  • You possess experience with fit-gap analysis and the definition of functional and technical requirements.
  • You have a strong understanding of software architecture, IT security, and compliance standards.
  • You're familiar with ITSM processes, specifically Incident Management and Problem Management.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of software solution capabilities, including configuration and integration limitations.
  • You're analytical, proactive, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
  • You are fluent in English with a good level of Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS).
  • Knowledge of RFP technical evaluation and non-functional requirement definition.
  • Willingness to support test teams with the preparation and execution of test scenarios.
