Our client, a global industrial manufacturer, is seeking a specialist to evolve their internal engineering ecosystem. The role focuses on maturing an internal developer platform to support international engineering teams in delivering high-quality industrial software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Extend an existing MVP into a comprehensive and mature internal developer platform.
- Define and implement DevOps best practices for security, monitoring, and deployment across all applications.
- Develop reusable templates to enable rapid application deployment and standardization.
- Collaborate with technical leads and architects to align on and implement the target platform blueprint.
- Support development teams by providing tools that facilitate autonomous application management.
- Document the platform architecture and processes to ensure a smooth long-term transition.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure Function Apps, App Services, Blob Storage, and SQL.
- 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET.
- Possess expertise in REST API design and implementation.
- You have experience with containerization using Docker and platform monitoring.
- You're proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguous requirements.
- You are fluent in English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Azure Key Vault and identity management.
- Knowledge of Dutch.
