Dissolution Scientist

Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a Dissolution Scientist to support the development of innovative medication. This role focuses on designing dissolution strategies and applying biopharmaceutical assessments to predict drug release rates and optimize formulations.

• Design and execute dissolution work to support the development of optimal dosage forms.
• Contribute to biopharmaceutical assessment strategies to predict in vivo exposure using in vitro data.
• Develop and improve biorelevant and clinically relevant QC methods and specifications.
• Participate in technical meetings and represent the department in cross-functional matrix environments.
• Advance the automation strategy and mechanistic understanding of in vitro dissolution.
• Write and review technical and scientific documentation in accordance with GMP standards.

• PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Biomedical Sciences (or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience).
• You bring knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences for small molecule formulations, analytical chemistry, and GMP compliance.
• You possess strong presentation skills and the ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary teams.
• You're a proactive, curious learner with a solution-oriented mindset.
• You are fluent in English with knowledge of or a willingness to learn Dutch.
