Software Asset Management Officer

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to support their IT licensing operations. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of software assets while ensuring contractual compliance and cost optimization across departmental functions.

• Manage the complete IT license lifecycle including request, acquisition, deployment, and renewal phases.
• Maintain an accurate and reliable database for active, expired, and retired software licenses.
• Analyze software contracts and licensing clauses in collaboration with procurement and finance teams.
• Monitor usage data to identify underutilized assets and propose optimization strategies.
• Implement and track key performance indicators related to compliance and potential savings.
• Prepare analytical reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.

• You bring 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or IT Procurement.
• You possess knowledge of SAM/ITAM solutions and licensing models for major software publishers.
• You have advanced data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
• You're recognized for your administrative rigor and analytical mindset.
• You are proactive with a strong sense of ownership and communication skills.
• You are fluent in English with professional proficiency in French or Dutch.
