Our client, a leading player in the field of occupational health and wellbeing, is seeking an Associate Medical Manager to strengthen its operations in the Brussels region. In this hybrid role, you will combine your practical medical expertise with a role providing strategic support and coaching to a team of passionate doctors, within an organisation that values a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

As the Medical Manager's right-hand person, you will join the regional medical team to ensure service excellence whilst supporting the operational development of your colleagues. Your responsibilities will be divided between managing a client portfolio and providing support for team management:

  • You monitor clients' health and carry out proactive medical consultations.
  • You conduct on-site visits to assess health, safety and hygiene conditions in the workplace.
  • You serve on Occupational Health and Safety Committees (CPPT) and provide expert advice.
  • You support reintegration programmes to facilitate a sustainable return to work for employees.
  • You act as a sparring partner to the Medical Manager in the day-to-day management and running of the team.
  • You become the go-to person for the optimal use of medical IT tools within the team.
  • You stand in for the manager and share your professional expertise in an inspiring way with your colleagues.

Requirements

  • You hold a specialist degree in Occupational Medicine.
  • You have at least 3 - 5 years of experience as an Occupational Doctor.
  • You have strong communication skills and a client-oriented approach.
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and demonstrating natural leadership within a team.
  • You hold a category B driving licence and are willing to travel within the Brussels Region.
  • You are full professional in both French and Dutch.
  • Prior experience in coaching or team management is a plus.
