Surveyor – Railway & Infrastructure Projects

Our client, a leading organization in the railway infrastructure sector, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their specialized survey team. The role focuses on performing 3D topographic measurements and managing technical reporting for diverse civil engineering and multidisciplinary studies.

• Execute 3D topographic and control measurements for infrastructure, road, and railway projects.
• Manage measurement requests from the application phase through to final reporting and plan creation.
• Operate specialized surveying equipment including total stations, GNSS, and leveling tools.
• Ensure onsite safety standards are met while conducting independent field assignments.
• Collaborate with surveyor assistants to deliver accurate data for environmental and hydraulic studies.
• Maintain project schedules by ensuring timely delivery of technical documentation and measurement results.

• You have 5+ years of experience in topographic surveying for large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• You possess expertise in performing 3D and coded measurements specifically for linear infrastructure such as railways or high-voltage lines.
• You bring advanced proficiency in utilizing LEICA equipment, including total stations, GNSS, and leveling sensors.
• You have a strong foundational knowledge of civil engineering and infrastructure development.
• You're communicative, safety-conscious, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• You show flexibility for night work, weekend assignments, and extended field hours when required.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a good level of French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with hydraulic or environmental studies.
• Experience with site preparation activities such as vegetation clearing or drainage inspections.
