Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking an expert project manager to lead the implementation of a new digital administrative sanctioning system. This role involves overseeing the project from strategic vision through to technical implementation while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan including clear objectives, milestones, and deadlines.
- Coordinate a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across legal, police, and financial departments.
- Monitor budget, planning, and quality standards to ensure the project meets its strategic goals.
- Report progress and outcomes to executive leadership and administrative boards.
- Perform detailed risk analyses and implement corrective measures to ensure project continuity.
- Manage transparent communication and reporting structures for all project participants.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in project management.
- 10+ years of experience in financial management, budget monitoring, and variance detection.
- 10+ years of experience in planning, organization, and resource allocation.
- 8+ years of experience leading infrastructure or software development projects.
- 8+ years of experience in risk management, including identification and mitigation.
- 8+ years of experience in stakeholder analysis and coordination.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership and team coordination.
- You have expert knowledge of Prince2 or PMBok methodologies.
- You possess a Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- You are proactive and have strong communication skills.
- You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.
Nice to Haves
- 5+ years of experience with complex transformation or implementation projects.
- Experience with Business Analysis.
- Background in change management projects within government or IT environments.
- Experience working within city or local government authorities.
- Knowledge of ITIL, MS Project, and MS Office.
