The Network Governance Project & Compliance Manager supports the global Network Governance community by ensuring that all activities are conducted in full operational and regulatory compliance. Working cross-functionally with Network Governance Heads, Leads, and Users, this role provides administrative, technical, transactional, and project management support to strengthen governance, risk management, vendor oversight, and system sustainability.

This position serves as a compliance project manager for the Network Governance function, ensuring process adherence, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement of Network Governance and EMP systems and tools. The role operates at a global level and contributes directly to GMP compliance, supplier oversight, regulatory inspection readiness, and adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure Compliance with Network Governance Processes Across the External Network

  • Proactively engage internal stakeholders (Network Governance Heads, Leads, Users, and Vendor Teams) to ensure full adherence to governance processes.
  • Strengthen vendor performance monitoring by supporting the definition, collection, analysis, and follow-up of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage and track risk management assessments, ensuring mitigation actions are implemented according to plan.
  • Support Vendor Account Plan updates, annual reviews, and sustainability/ESG initiatives (e.g., water usage, energy efficiency, ethical sourcing).
  • Coordinate Network Governance training by maintaining training matrices, developing onboarding plans, and ensuring completion across the network.
  • Support cybersecurity and sustainability initiatives related to external manufacturing partners.

2. Support Regulatory Inspection Readiness & Vendor Qualification

  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of vendor qualification documentation.
  • Support health authority inspections by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with governance standards.
  • Maintain ongoing regulatory intelligence by monitoring, compiling, and sharing relevant insights through internal tools.
  • Strengthen the Network Governance community through:
    • Development of training materials
    • Onboarding and coaching sessions
    • Process training
    • One-on-one user support

3. Own and Sustain Network Governance / EMP Systems & Tools

  • Act as the primary point of contact with external IT providers: monitor system performance, coordinate issue resolution, oversee upgrades, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations and internal standards.
  • Support system upgrades, including process updates, documentation, validation, and tool enhancements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in collaboration with vendor teams and system owners.
  • Provide onboarding and system training for new users (e.g., Compass, Spider, or similar platforms).
  • Enhance communication channels (collaboration platforms, Viva Engage, awareness sessions, stakeholder communications).
  • Contribute as a Business Process Management (BPM) architect to maintain and improve governance processes and related documentation.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Quality, or a related field
  • Master’s degree is a plus

Certifications (Optional)

  • Project Management certification
  • Quality or GMP-related certifications are an asset

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated operational or technical environment
  • Experience in system compliance management and maintenance
  • Strong technical understanding of Network Governance activities (external manufacturing, vendor oversight, compliance processes)
  • Fluent in English
