Test Engineer – Traffic & Billing Solutions

Our client, a key organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Test Engineer to join their traffic solutions team. The role involves managing the technical quality of software solutions related to movement billing and operational logistics.

• Draft, maintain, and execute test scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
• Analyze test results and register defects accurately using management tools like ALM.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure efficient follow-up and final validation.
• Contribute to continuous quality by integrating automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Support the team by identifying operational risks through a rigorous and detail-oriented approach.

• You have 1+ years of experience in ICT testing within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• You bring 1+ years of experience developing test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• You possess experience with test automation tools such as UFT or Selenium.
• You bring experience with quality management and defect tracking using ALM.
• You have knowledge of programming and version control including VBScript, SQL, Python, and Git.
• You possess experience with Jenkins and Docker within a CI/CD context.
• You have an ISTQB certification.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and demonstrate high levels of empathy and collaboration.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French (C1) with a B2 level of French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with billing processes or public transport systems.
• Willingness to participate in on-call standby services.
