Our client, a public organization focused on the agriculture and maritime sectors, is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to support their IT Operations department. The role involves ensuring the stability of the IT infrastructure by providing first and second-line support for software and hardware issues while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Register, classify, and dispatch service desk tickets while resolving first-line technical issues.
- Perform installation, configuration, and management of desktop environments and PC hardware.
- Manage the information technology inventory and stock levels to ensure equipment availability.
- Configure and distribute mobile devices and smartphones to end-users.
- Provide clear communication to internal clients regarding ticket status and technical resolutions.
- Collaborate with team leads to report on service desk performance and operational continuity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in ICT.
- 4+ years of experience as a service desk professional in 1st and 2nd line support.
- You possess deep knowledge of Windows Active Directory, including DHCP, DNS, DFS, and Group Policies (GPO).
- You have experience managing Windows desktop environments, specifically Windows 11, SCCM, and Windows Deployment Services (WDS).
- You're proficient in using service desk tools such as Omnitracker and managing a CMDB.
- You have experience with PC hardware installation and peripheral management.
- You bring a solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills and a customer-centric approach.
- You possess a valid Driver's License B.
- You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Support principles.
- Experience supporting users in Citrix environments and on VMware virtual machines.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools like Mobile Iron or Microsoft Intune.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies such as DirectAccess or Always On VPN.
- Knowledge of Office 365 administration and support.
