Our client, a leading organization focused on business support services, is looking for a developer to strengthen their internal finance and HR systems. The role involves building, extending, and maintaining critical applications while balancing new feature development with the optimization of existing functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust backend features using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
- Perform technical analyses for new and existing system functionalities.
- Manage the life cycle of internal applications to ensure long-term stability.
- Integrate backend solutions with external platforms including accounting and workforce management systems.
- Implement security enhancements and maintain alignment with development best practices.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders during sprint planning and refinements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- You bring advanced knowledge of Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
- You possess experience with Clean Code principles and CI/CD.
- You have a strong understanding of Microservices architecture and system integrations.
- You're analytically minded and capable of refactoring complex codebases.
- You're a proactive team player who takes ownership and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Nice to Haves
- Domain knowledge in payroll, HR, finance, or security.
- Experience working with Workday or financial software packages.
