.NET Developer – .NET Core & Azure

Our client, a prominent organization in the transport sector, is looking for a developer to take ownership of designing and building high-quality software solutions. The role focuses on translating business requirements into reliable applications while maintaining a strong commitment to clean code and technical excellence.

• Design and build robust software solutions using modern development frameworks and cloud services.
• Translate business ideas and requirements into effective, reliable technical applications.
• Implement clean, maintainable code following established engineering practices and architectural principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and solution designers to ensure technical deliveries align with business goals.
• Develop and maintain secure, performant web interfaces and backend services.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of complete software solutions and knowledge sharing.

• 5+ years backend development with .NET and .NET Core Web API.
• 3+ years experience with Azure Cloud services and PaaS components.
• Proven expertise in Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Significant experience in unit testing and maintaining automated test quality.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database design and optimization.
• Proficiency with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Proactive and solution-oriented with strong communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with C2 level and possess a C1 level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event-driven patterns and offline/online data synchronization.
• Experience with local persistence and backend API integration for mobile environments.

• Start date: 01/09/2026.
• Duration: until 31/08/2028.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite).
• Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
