Our client, a leading organization in the transport sector, is looking for a developer to take ownership of software solutions within the transport execution domain. The role involves designing and building high-quality applications in close collaboration with solution designers to translate business requirements into reliable technical systems. Focus is placed on delivering well-tested software while maintaining a deep understanding of the operational context.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-quality software solutions within the transport execution domain.
  • Translate business ideas and stakeholder requirements into effective, reliable applications.
  • Collaborate with solution designers to ensure technical alignment and architectural integrity.
  • Develop secure and performant .NET Core Web APIs.
  • Create meaningful and automated unit tests to ensure software craftsmanship.
  • Manage containerized deployments and maintain robust Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Design applications capable of handling offline usage, local persistence, and synchronization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years backend development with .NET, LINQ, and async/await.
  • 3+ years cloud development with Azure, PaaS components, and event-driven patterns.
  • 3+ years web development with .NET Core Web API.
  • Experience with architecture and design patterns using Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with testing and quality through unit testing.
  • You're proactive, show initiative, and possess a professional and constructive attitude.
  • You are fluent in English with at least level C1 and have a C2 level of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Experience with data and integration including SQL and relational database design.
  • Knowledge of offline usage, local persistence, and synchronization for mobile applications.
  • Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
