Material Planner

Our client is a leading organization in the industrial sector seeking a dedicated professional to manage end-to-end material flows. This role focuses on optimizing supply chain processes and serving as a strategic partner for both internal stakeholders and global suppliers.

• Manage the end-to-end flow of raw materials to ensure timely availability and optimal production continuity.
• Define and implement long-term material strategies including safety stock levels, dual sourcing, and inventory segmentation.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on supply chain digitalization, automation, and process harmonization.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels by adjusting MRP parameters and taking corrective actions to minimize obsolete stock.
• Drive supply chain performance by taking ownership of KPIs such as OTIF, service levels, and working capital.
• Maintain and optimize SAP systems and dashboards to improve material planning accuracy and visibility.

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain management within a production environment.
• You possess advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel for data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
• You have a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including purchasing and production structures.
• You are proactive and analytical with the ability to challenge existing processes and manage diverse stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English with a basic knowledge of French and German.
