Test Designer – Utility & Grid Management Systems

Our client, a major organization in the utility sector, is looking for a Test Designer to support grid operations and management projects. The role involves defining and executing test scenarios for ICT applications to ensure high-quality software delivery within a complex business environment.

• Develop detailed test cases and test scenarios for both individual projects and end-to-end cross-project testing.
• Identify test scopes based on requirement analysis and prepare necessary test data.
• Execute functional tests and meticulously document results and observed defects.
• Support the defect resolution process by providing clear documentation and technical feedback.
• Assist the test coordinator with test preparation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
• Detect, assess, and escalate risks or bottlenecks to ensure timely project progression.

• You have 4+ years of experience as a Test Specialist or Test Designer.
• You have 4+ years of experience with formal test methods and techniques.
• You have 3+ years of experience with the test automation tool Tosca.
• You possess experience with test automation using Selenium, Leapwork, and Playwright.
• You have proven experience in writing test strategies and detailed test scenarios.
• You bring experience working in Agile and Scrum project environments.
• You possess a valid ISTQB certification.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• 2+ years of experience with Jira as a test management tool.
• Experience working with SAP environments.
