Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for an IT Business Analyst to support critical infrastructure projects. This role involves analyzing business processes and gathering requirements to deliver high-quality IT solutions in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and business requirements.
  • Define project goals, timelines, and resource requirements while coordinating IT initiatives with autonomy.
  • Recommend and design IT solutions in partnership with technical teams and external partners.
  • Oversee the implementation of software delivery projects to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to users on new systems and updated business workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • You have the ability to manage complex transitions and multiple tasks under pressure.
  • You possess strong communication skills for active stakeholder engagement and requirement interpretation.
  • You're a pragmatic team player with an assertive yet diplomatic approach to problem-solving.
  • You're a fast learner capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French with a high level of written English.

Nice to Haves

  • Understanding of Finance processes from an IT perspective, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience with SAP or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Previous experience in regulated industries such as Energy, Utilities, or Finance.
  • Proficient in creating BPMN diagrams.
