Our client, a major player in the petrochemical industry, is seeking a professional to support the pre-commissioning phase of a large-scale industrial project. This role focuses on ensuring full regulatory compliance through meticulous technical document review and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Review technical and regulatory documentation submitted by contractors to ensure project standards are met.
  • Assess Declarations of Conformity (DoC) and Declarations of Performance (DoP) for compliance with European directives including PED, MD, LVD, and EMC.
  • Verify compliance with local requirements and standards such as VLAREM, AREI, and Fire & Gas regulations.
  • Identify documentation findings and compliance gaps, discussing necessary resolutions with contractors and project stakeholders.
  • Manage and track all technical documentation using a SharePoint-based document management system.
  • Support the project team in finalizing all regulatory requirements to ensure a compliant transition to the commissioning phase.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
  • You bring 1+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, CE marking, or technical document reviews within an industrial environment.
  • You possess knowledge of European regulations and standards such as RoHS, CPR, and the Machinery Directive.
  • You are proficient in working with digital document management systems, specifically SharePoint.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with project teams.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch.
